Democratic Party Council in the Parliament held meeting today. Discussions and decisions during the meeting are reported.
Democratic Party arises three issues related to Constitutional Law of Mongolia which are to select the President from the Parliament, to increase rural authority and to recall the Parliament member.
Above proposal will be handed over to working group of amending Constitutional Law, total 18 provisions.
D.Erdenebat, Head of Democratic Party’s Council, said “We shouldn’t make amendment to Constitutional Law related to the election, we should see 20 years forecast at least. But it looks like election campaign work for some politicians”.
Position of Democratic Party is stable and these proposals should be approved by public vote after it has been presented.
Also the party expressed its opinion not to attend meeting of discussing amendment to the Constitutional Law if the proposals are not approved by public vote.
